Now, however, a friend of Hemingway and collaborator in the last 13 years of his life suggested another factor, have been described as a paranoid delusion of the Nobel prizewinner. Is that Hemingway was aware of his long FBI surveillance J. Edgar Hoover, who was suspicious of his ties with Cuba, and this may have helped push the edge.
